Landini Tractors - Alpine
Designed to be a powerful, lightweight and versatile tractor to suit a number of applications the ALPINE 85 is a low-profile tractor well suited to large orchards & vineyards as well as a general multi use farm tractor for hilly or rolling terrain.
Delivering 74hp (PTO hp) from their Perkins 800 Series 3.3 litre four-cylinder turbo engines the Alpine 85 is packed with features.
Four-wheel drive is a standard feature but there are two versions – a standard axle with 55O steering angle and a tighter turning axle with 60O steering angle and a system that automatically speeds up the front wheels to pull the front of the tractor round.
This feature reduces the turning radius by 20-30% and is especially useful in orchards and other situations where there is little space to manoeuvre.
The powershuttle transmission allows operators the convenience of moving between forward and reverse directions with fingertip control and no need to use the clutch pedal. Frequent changes of direction are therefore easier and less tiring
The powershuttle transmission provides 60 working and transport speeds, including 40kph gearing and two push-button powershift speeds, plus a multi-plate wet clutch for the power take-off.
Electronic powerlift hitch is standard on the Alpine 85 providing more accurate control of implements and ease of use through headland turns.
